Data & analysis

How trustworthy is the data?
All flow data comes directly from the Bitcoin blockchain — public, immutable, and verifiable by any full node. Provider attribution (which address belongs to which exchange / ETF / mining pool) is based on a tagging database maintained over years, currently with ~37 million provider tags.
How current are the flows?
Premium and Platinum users see new blocks instantly as they appear on the blockchain (roughly every 10 minutes). Free users see all data with a 60-minute delay.
What is a "category"?
A category groups similar entities — e.g. "Exchange" includes Binance, Coinbase, Kraken; "ETF" includes iShares, Fidelity, BlackRock products; "Mining" includes Foundry, AntPool, ViaBTC. There are about 15 categories from Exchange to Darknet.
Which cryptocurrencies are supported?
Currently only Bitcoin (BTC). Extension to other UTXO-based coins (Litecoin, Bitcoin Cash) is conceptually possible, not currently planned.
Is data streamed live via WebSocket?
Yes, Premium and Platinum users get live updates via WebSocket in the dashboard — no reload needed. Free users must refresh the page.

Tiers & subscription

What are the differences between Free, Premium, and Platinum?
Free (€0): top-5 categories, 60 min delayed, 1 price alert. Premium (€19/month): real-time, all categories, live correlation, 5 alerts. Platinum (€39/month): adds provider-level flows, provider matrix, 20 alerts, and REST API access. Full comparison on the pricing page.
Can I switch tier?
Yes, anytime. Upgrades take effect immediately; downgrades wait until the current subscription ends. Pro-rata upgrade credit is automatically applied.
What happens when my subscription ends?
Your account automatically reverts to Free — no cancellation or form needed. You keep access to your dashboard (with 60 min delay) and can upgrade again anytime.
Is there a trial or money-back guarantee?
The Free tier IS the trial — unlimited use. Lightning payments are irreversible, so no classical money-back guarantee. If you hit a real technical issue, let us know.

Payment

How do I pay?
Exclusively via Bitcoin Lightning. You receive a BOLT11 invoice with QR code and scan it with any Lightning wallet — no credit card, no bank, no payment processor in between.
Which Lightning wallets are recommended?
For beginners: Phoenix, Muun, Breez, Wallet of Satoshi. For pros: Zeus, Blixt, LND / Core Lightning with your own node. Any BOLT11-capable wallet works.
What happens if a Lightning payment fails?
Invoices are valid for 15 minutes. If a payment fails (routing issues, insufficient capacity), your account stays unchanged — just generate a new invoice.
Can I get invoices / receipts?
Yes, under Account → Subscriptions you'll find all paid invoices as PDF downloads.
Do you accept on-chain BTC payments?
No, Lightning only. On-chain fees and confirmation times would be impractical for monthly subscriptions.

Account & privacy

What data do you collect?
Only the minimum: email (for login and alerts), password hash (argon2id), subscription status, alert configurations. No tracking, no ad IDs, no third-party analytics in the logged-in area.
Do you use cookies?
Only technically necessary ones (session, CSRF token, theme preference). No advertising cookies, no third-party cookies. Details in the privacy policy.
Can I change my email address?
Yes, under Account → Settings. The new address must be confirmed by email before it becomes active.
How do I delete my account?
Under Account → Settings → "Delete account". All personal data is removed within 24 hours; anonymised subscription statistics remain for bookkeeping (legal retention requirements).
Do you share my data with third parties?
No. The only exception: for Lightning payments we use a self-hosted LNbits instance — payment metadata stays within our infrastructure.

Tech & integration

Which browsers are supported?
All modern browsers from the last 2 years: Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge (desktop + mobile). No IE.
Is there a mobile app?
No native app. The web app is fully responsive and works well on mobile — "Add to Home Screen" in your browser gives a PWA-like experience.
Is the API usable for non-developers?
The REST API is developer-oriented. If you can code (Python / JS), you'll get far quickly. Non-developers are better served by the dashboard CSV export.
Can I export data?
Premium / Platinum: CSV export from dashboard tables. Platinum additionally: flow-observations export via API for bulk downloads.
